The City of Fremont is asking for public input on the needs in our community. Over the next few months, the City will be drafting its 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan, which is required by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to apply and receive federal funds. The Consolidated Plan prioritizes the local use of federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds for affordable housing and community development needs. the Plan is based on a needs assessment, market analysis, and public outreach. The date is then used to create a strategic plan that outlines how Fremont will use federal funding to address the identified needs and set priorities for funding for the next five years. Make a difference by taking a few minutes to fill out the survey today. Please complete the survey by January 8, 2025.
