The City of Fremont recognizes that digital engagement is not the only solution to gathering feedback from the public. There are still members of the community who do not have internet access. We will also continue to engage with the public and solicit feedback through public meetings, written correspondence, and in-person meetings. MyFremont will help supplement the engagement tools the City of Fremont will continue to use.
Steps to get started:
Register to access the interactive features on each project page. To get started, click the 'Register' button located on the top right of this page.
Registrants are asked to create a username. This name will be associated with any comment or question you submit, so be mindful to choose a name that is appropriate, and if privacy is a concern, conceals your first and/or last name.
There are several demographic questions that follow on the registration form. The data will be used by the City of Fremont only and is anonymous to all other users. The City has decided to collect this information to make sure we effectively connect with all sectors of our community.
The information you enter is protected and will not be shared with third parties.
If you already have an account and you're logged in, you will no longer see the register button.
To find all of the ongoing and archived projects, select "Project Pages" on the toolbar above or explore the homepage. The City will be updating project content on a regular basis, so please check back in to see the latest updates.

I love city of Fremont my daughter was born here 13 years ago, a great place to race families, the only thing we need in our street is street bumps cars drive over 40mph in a 25mph zone. This is not safe specially for the kids around the school area.

I love that there is little gun violence. It is very scary to live in areas where gun violence is every day today business. I do know that crimes have increased because I am part of Nextdoor and people post thefts and car break-ins a lot. I hope the city is addressing this problem. Overall, it is a beautiful city and I also cannot wait for the downtown. It’s long overdue!!

Central Park is nice. But this city seems not safe anymore . Most stores I went to the doors are patched with wooden board which indicate they got broke in. I start to see graffiti in our town house community. Wired teen come to our community park to do laud bike trick and yell. If city does not let us put gate in our community, they need to make the neighborhood safer.

Fremont is a beautiful city and I have enjoyed being a resident for over 40 years. I live in the south Warm Springs District and see the thousands of new high density housing projects surrounding the Bart Station and feel it is a good thing for Fremont to provide much needed housing. HOWEVER, has anyone seen plans for developing a balanced set of new services such as food markets, restaurants, etc. to provide service for all these new residents. Other cities such as Santa Clara, Cupertino, etc have integrated these businesses into the development plans for new housing projects. So far I haven't seen any of this, only lots of new housing. Can the City of Fremont Planning please point me to the plans or speak to this critical constraint on our growth of new city residents?

It’s a great place and I am really hoping the downtown area becomes an actual downtown. It would be so lovely to have restaurants, boutiques, bakeries, specialty stores all on the same strip to stroll through. Many neighboring cities have successful downtowns. Please consider following their lead.

The only thing I love is the weather.
I don't understand why they are backing up traffic taking away right hand turn lanes.
Why no one follows up on crime.
Most important we need traffic cops to control the speed and stopping at stop signs for the safety of our neighborhood. I run in my neighborhood and people are reckless drivers.

Has any survey been done in Fremont to justify the real estate space given out to bike lanes at the cost of congestion to the cars? It sounds a bit backwards that a resident is not caring about the bike lanes but the practical reality is - bike lanes are coming at the expense of the existing road lanes (atleast at most places) when the city is permitting a denser housing across all neighbourhoods. Would love to read the traffic data collected before fremont leadership made the decision/s.
Also, trying to understand the though process behind taking out the right turn lane which is causing unnecessary traffic backups during rush hour. If it was just me, I am fine but I have seen police officers running over the right cones while making turns i.e. again trying to understand the ROI on such expensive $$$$ and real estate decision and the benefits

Can you please take out the traffic cameras from the city of Fremont. They are more or like devices that helps in bringing revenue by punishing the citizens of Fremont at their one sully mistake while taking right turns. Please.

there's a shop for everyone's hobbies. i just wish our actransit was better, takes an hour to bus to parts of the city that takes 12 minutes by car.
